“Tampa Centennial Keep” is a large historical clock tower for the Tampa Union Station, through the City of Tampa’s Art in Public Places program. The twenty-eight foot high clock tower depicts the rich one-hundred year history of the train station. Once again, the subject matter for this piece involved extensive research into the train station's history through pictorial archives along with interviews with local historians. One of my strong skills is the ability to absorb information about an environment, its history and its culture, and then filter it down to the most essential parts. Thus, the imagery will depict and portray the subject to its fullest, in a positive portrayal.
