Commissioned by the City of Providence, Rhode Island, artist William C. Culbertson designed and constructed four large scale sculptures as part of the arts festival, Convergence XII. The sculptures, titled Relics, were temporarily installed along the waterfront in downtown Providence in front of RISD for two years.
The four pieces, ranging in height from ten feet to fourteen feet, are constructed of wood timber and fiberglass. The pieces were designed using 3DS Max .
